19.468 died however, this number can be confirmed only upon certification of cause of death by the Istituto Superiore di Sanità.
To date, the total number of assessed cases in Italy is 152.271
In detail: there are currently 30.258 positive cases in Lombardy, 13.495 in Emilia-Romagna, 12.170 in Piedmont, 10.749 in Veneto, 5.992 in Tuscany, 3.730 nel Lazio, 3.333 in Liguria, 3.231 in the Marche, 3.002 in Campania, 2.402 in Puglia, 2.064 in the autonomous Province of Trento, 2.001 in Sicily, 1.724 in Abruzzo, 1.382 in Friuli Venezia Giulia, 1.269 in the autonomous Province of Bolzano, 888 in Sardinia, 792 in Calabria, 723 in Umbria, 590 in the Aosta Valley, 281 in Basilicata and 193 in Molise.
