The Italian Minister of Health, Roberto Speranza signed a new ordinance on August 12, 2020, requiring a molecular or antigenic test, carried out by means of a swab within 72 hours prior to entry in Italy, or the obligation to perform a swab test upon arrival, or within 48 hours entry in Italy for citizens arriving from Croatia, Greece, Malta and Spain.
“We must continue to stay cautious, in order to maintain the results achieved over the past few months, thanks to everyone’s sacrifices ” stated Minister Speranza.
Among the measures contained in the ordinance, there is also a ban on entry and transit from Colombia, which has been added to the list of countries at risk.
