At Civil Protection Department Headquarters, the Operational Committee keeps working to ensure the coordination of all operations by the components and operational structures of the National Civil Protection Service.
As per health monitoring activities related to the spread of Coronavirus across national territory:
- 83.324 people have tested positive
- 105.186 patients have recovered
- 30.560 died however, this number can be confirmed only upon certification of cause of death by the Istituto Superiore di Sanità.
To date, the total number of assessed cases in Italy is 219.070
In detail, the number of infected people amounts to 30.190 in Lombardy, 13.650 in Piedmont, 7.191 in Emilia-Romagna, 5.591 in Veneto, 4.147 in Tuscany, 2.900 in Liguria, 4.286 in Lazio, 3.251 in the Marche, 1.915 in Campania, 786 in the autonomous province of Trento, 2.669 in Puglia, 2.069 in Sicily, 851 in Friuli Venezia Giulia, 1.671 in Abruzzo, 459 in the autonomous province of Bolzano, 113 in Umbria, 515 in Sardinia, 113 in the Aosta Valley, 596 in Calabria, 143 in Basilicata and 218 in Molise.
