At Civil Protection Department Headquarters, the Operational Committee keeps working to ensure the coordination of all operations by the components and operational structures of the National Civil Protection Service.
As per health monitoring activities related to the spread of Coronavirus across national territory:
- 105.418 people have tested positive
- 38.092 patients have recovered
- 21.645 died however, this number can be confirmed only upon certification of cause of death by the Istituto Superiore di Sanità.
To date, the total number of assessed cases in Italy is 165.155
In detail: there are currently 32.921 positive cases in Lombardy, 13.577 in Emilia-Romagna, 13.195 in Piedmont, 10.789 in Veneto, 6.417 in Tuscany, 4.047 nel Lazio, 3.464 in Liguria, 3.097 in the Marche, 3.087 in Campania, 2.573 in Puglia, 2.104 in the autonomous Province of Trento, 2.081 in Sicily, 1.810 in Abruzzo, 1.394 in Friuli Venezia Giulia, 1.576 in the autonomous Province of Bolzano, 870 in Sardinia, 819 in Calabria, 582 in Umbria, 548 in the Aosta Valley, 261 in Basilicata and 206 in Molise.
