At Civil Protection Department Headquarters, the Operational Committee keeps working to ensure the coordination of all operations by the components and operational structures of the National Civil Protection Service.
As per health monitoring activities related to the spread of Coronavirus across national territory:
- 62.752 people have tested positive
- 132.282 patients have recovered
- 32.330 died however, this number can be confirmed only upon certification of cause of death by the Istituto Superiore di Sanità.
To date, the total number of assessed cases in Italy is 227.364
In detail, the number of infected people amounts to 26.671 in Lombardy, 9.151 in Piedmont, 5.098 in Emilia-Romagna, 3.532 in Veneto, 2.117 in Tuscany, 2.178 in Liguria, 3.786 in Lazio, 1.974 in the Marche, 1.442 in Campania, 1.902 in Puglia, 126 in the autonomous province of Trento, 1.523 in Sicily, 596 in Friuli Venezia Giulia, 1.317 in Abruzzo, 272 in the autonomous province of Bolzano, 66 in Umbria, 331 in Sardinia, 46 in the Aosta Valley, 353 in Calabria, 198 in Molise and 73 in Basilicata.
