At Civil Protection Department Headquarters, the Operational Committee keeps working to ensure the coordination of all operations by the components and operational structures of the National Civil Protection Service.
As per health monitoring activities related to the spread of Coronavirus across national territory:
- 107.709 people have tested positive
- 51.600 patients have recovered
- 24.648 died however, this number can be confirmed only upon certification of cause of death by the Istituto Superiore di Sanità.
To date, the total number of assessed cases in Italy is 183.957
In detail: there are currently 33.978 positive cases in Lombardy, 13.244 in Emilia-Romagna, 14.811 in Piedmont, 10.077 in Veneto, 6.622 in Tuscany, 4.402 nel Lazio, 3.463 in Liguria, 3.218 in the Marche, 2.946 in Campania, 2.812 in Puglia, 1.909 in the autonomous Province of Trento, 2.259 in Sicily, 2.067 in Abruzzo, 1.322 in Friuli Venezia Giulia, 1.536 in the autonomous Province of Bolzano, 837 in Sardinia, 819 in Calabria, 407 in Umbria, 522 in the Aosta Valley, 245 in Basilicata and 213 in Molise.
