At Civil Protection Department Headquarters, the Operational Committee keeps working to ensure the coordination of all operations by the components and operational structures of the National Civil Protection Service.
As per health monitoring activities related to the spread of Coronavirus across national territory:
- 20.637 people have tested positive, resulting in a decrease of 335 cases.
- 183.426 patients have recovered
- 34.657 died (the confirmation that the cause of death is exclusively imputable to SARS-CoV-2 will be validated by the Italian Higher Institute for Health)
To date, the total number of assessed cases in Italy is 238.720.
In detail, the number of infected people amounts to 13.638 in Lombardy, 1.970 in Piedmont, 1.154 in Emilia-Romagna, 585 in Veneto, 360 in Tuscany, 250 in Liguria, 945 in Lazio, 505 in Marche, 133 in Campania, 218 in Puglia, 53 in the autonomous province of Trento, 141 in Sicily, 72 in Friuli Venezia Giulia, 403 in Abruzzo, 89 the autonomous province of Bolzano, 13 in Umbria, 28 in Sardinia, 5 in Aosta Valley, 33 in Calabria, 43 in Molise e 8 in Basilicata.
