At Civil Protection Department Headquarters, the Operational Committee keeps working to ensure the coordination of all operations by the components and operational structures of the National Civil Protection Service.
As per health monitoring activities related to the spread of Coronavirus across national territory:
- 106.848 people have tested positive
- 57.576 patients have recovered
- 25.549 died however, this number can be confirmed only upon certification of cause of death by the Istituto Superiore di Sanità.
To date, the total number of assessed cases in Italy is 189.973
In detail: there are currently 33.873 positive cases in Lombardy, 12.845 in Emilia-Romagna, 15.152 in Piedmont, 9.925 in Veneto, 6.171 in Tuscany, 4.486 nel Lazio, 3.466 in Liguria, 3.230 in the Marche, 2.978 in Campania, 2.936 in Puglia, 1.871 in the autonomous Province of Trento, 2.301 in Sicily, 2.100 in Abruzzo, 1.135 in Friuli Venezia Giulia, 1.494 in the autonomous Province of Bolzano, 817 in Sardinia, 823 in Calabria, 355 in Umbria, 463 in the Aosta Valley, 229 in Basilicata and 198 in Molise.
