At Civil Protection Department Headquarters, the Operational Committee keeps working to ensure the coordination of all operations by the components and operational structures of the National Civil Protection Service.
As per health monitoring activities related to the spread of Coronavirus across national territory:
- 106.527 people have tested positive
- 60.498 patients have recovered
- 25.969 died however, this number can be confirmed only upon certification of cause of death by the Istituto Superiore di Sanità.
To date, the total number of assessed cases in Italy is 192.994.
In detail: there are currently 34.368 positive cases in Lombardy, 12.509 in Emilia-Romagna, 15.391 in Piedmont, 9.679 in Veneto, 6.133 in Tuscany, 4.492 nel Lazio, 3.437 in Liguria, 3.273 in the Marche, 2.943 in Campania, 2.933 in Puglia, 1.827 in the autonomous Province of Trento, 2.320 in Sicily, 2.079 in Abruzzo, 1.320 in Friuli Venezia Giulia, 1.093 in the autonomous Province of Bolzano, 804 in Sardinia, 821 in Calabria, 322 in Umbria, 3541 in the Aosta Valley, 229 in Basilicata and 200 in Molise.
