At Civil Protection Department Headquarters, the Operational Committee keeps working to ensure the coordination of all operations by the components and operational structures of the National Civil Protection Service.
As per health monitoring activities related to the spread of Coronavirus across national territory:
- 105.847 people have tested positive
- 63.120 patients have recovered
- 26.384 died however, this number can be confirmed only upon certification of cause of death by the Istituto Superiore di Sanità.
To date, the total number of assessed cases in Italy is 195.351.
In detail: there are currently 34.473 positive cases in Lombardy, 12.347 in Emilia-Romagna, 15.502 in Piedmont, 9.432 in Veneto, 6.146 in Tuscany, 4.561 nel Lazio, 3.433 in Liguria, 3.272 in the Marche, 2.935 in Campania, 2.919 in Puglia, 1.744 in the autonomous Province of Trento, 2.272 in Sicily, 2.061 in Abruzzo, 1.084 in Friuli Venezia Giulia, 1.035 in the autonomous Province of Bolzano, 794 in Sardinia, 811 in Calabria, 297 in Umbria, 313 in the Aosta Valley, 218 in Basilicata and 198 in Molise.
