At Civil Protection Department Headquarters, the Operational Committee keeps working to ensure the coordination of all operations by the components and operational structures of the National Civil Protection Service.
As per health monitoring activities related to the spread of Coronavirus across national territory:
- 106.103 people have tested positive
- 64.928 patients have recovered
- 26.644 died however, this number can be confirmed only upon certification of cause of death by the Istituto Superiore di Sanità.
To date, the total number of assessed cases in Italy is 197.675.
In detail: there are currently 35.166 positive cases in Lombardy, 15.519 in Emilia-Romagna, 12.341 in Piedmont, 9.138 in Veneto, 6.069 in Tuscany, 4.573 nel Lazio, 3.480 in Liguria, 3.308 in the Marche, 2.924 in Campania, 2.937 in Puglia, 1.682 in the autonomous Province of Trento, 2.107 in Sicily, 2.068 in Abruzzo, 1.248 in Friuli Venezia Giulia, 994 in the autonomous Province of Bolzano, 783 in Sardinia, 797 in Calabria, 296 in Umbria, 254 in the Aosta Valley, 219 in Basilicata and 200 in Molise.
