At Civil Protection Department Headquarters, the Operational Committee keeps working to ensure the coordination of all operations by the components and operational structures of the National Civil Protection Service.
As per health monitoring activities related to the spread of Coronavirus across national territory:
- 101.551 people have tested positive
- 75.945 patients have recovered
- 27.967 died however, this number can be confirmed only upon certification of cause of death by the Istituto Superiore di Sanità.
To date, the total number of assessed cases in Italy is 205.463.
In detail: there are currently 36.211 positive cases in Lombardy, 9.563 in Emilia-Romagna, 15.493 in Piedmont, 8.147 in Veneto, 5.584 in Tuscany, 4.468 nel Lazio, 3.551 in Liguria, 3.210 in the Marche, 2.773 in Campania, 2.949 in Puglia, 1.370 in the autonomous Province of Trento, 2.157 in Sicily, 1.915 in Abruzzo, 1.170 in Friuli Venezia Giulia, 802 in the autonomous Province of Bolzano, 744 in Sardinia, 740 in Calabria, 233 in Umbria, 89 in the Aosta Valley, 192 in Basilicata and 190 in Molise.
