At Civil Protection Department Headquarters, the Operational Committee keeps working to ensure the coordination of all operations by the components and operational structures of the National Civil Protection Service.
As per health monitoring activities related to the spread of Coronavirus across national territory:
- 98.467 people have tested positive
- 85.231patients have recovered
- 29.315 died however, this number can be confirmed only upon certification of cause of death by the Istituto Superiore di Sanità.
To date, the total number of assessed cases in Italy is 213.013.
In detail, the number of infected people amounts to 37.092 in Lombardy, 15.323 in Piedmont, 8.681 in Emilia-Romagna, 7.116 in Veneto, 5.190 in Tuscany, 3.427 in Liguria, 4.370 in Lazio, 3.219 in the Marche, 2.530 in Campania, 1.041 in the autonomous province of Trento, 2.939 in Puglia, 2.202 in Sicily, 984 in Friuli Venezia Giulia, 1.809 in Abruzzo, 612 in the autonomous province of Bolzano, 176 in Umbria, 642 in Sardinia, 110 in Valle d’Aosta, 650 in Calabria, 177 in Basilicata and 177 in Molise.
