26.491 patients have recovered
17.669 died however, this number can be confirmed only upon certification of cause of death by the Istituto Superiore di Sanità.
To date, the total number of assessed cases in Italy is 139.422
In detail: there are currently 28.545 positive cases in Lombardy, 13.110 in Emilia-Romagna, 10.989 in Piedmont, 10.171 in Veneto, 5.557 in Tuscany, 3.562 in the Marche, 3.448 nel Lazio, 3.245 in Liguria, 2.859 in Campania, 2.238 in Puglia, 1.940 in the autonomous Province of Trento, 1.893 in Sicily,1.534 in Abruzzo, 1.415 in Friuli Venezia Giulia, 1.281 in the autonomous Province of Bolzano, 823 in Umbria, 840 in Sardinia, 755 in Calabria, 606 in the Aosta Valley, 270 in Basilicata e 181 in Molise.
