At Civil Protection Department Headquarters, the Operational Committee keeps working to ensure the coordination of all operations by the components and operational structures of the National Civil Protection Service.
As per health monitoring activities related to the spread of Coronavirus across national territory:
- 87.961 people have tested positive
- 99.023 patients have recovered
- 30.201 died however, this number can be confirmed only upon certification of cause of death by the Istituto Superiore di Sanità.
To date, the total number of assessed cases in Italy is 217.185.
In detail, the number of infected people amounts to 31.983 in Lombardy, 14.107 in Piedmont, 7.730 in Emilia-Romagna, 6.187 in Veneto, 4.592 in Tuscany, 3.176 in Liguria, 4.328 in Lazio, 3.238 in the Marche, 2.012 in Campania, 872 in the autonomous province of Trento, 2.733 in Puglia, 2.127 in Sicily, 911 in Friuli Venezia Giulia, 1.713 in Abruzzo, 502 in the autonomous province of Bolzano, 119 in Umbria, 553 in Sardinia, 123 in Valle d’Aosta, 619 in Calabria, 152 in Basilicata and 184 in Molise.
