The Italian Minister of Health, Roberto Speranza, signed four new ordinances based on data from the Control Room/Cabina di Regia (MD April 30, 2020) which was held on January 15, 2021.
The measures provided for in the new ordinances will be enforced starting January 17, 2020.
More specifically, according to the new ordinances the following Regions:
- Abruzzo, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Lazio, Liguria, Marche, Piedmont, Apulia, Umbria and Aosta Valley are now included in the orange area
- Lombardy, Sicily, and the Autonomous Province of Bolzano are now included in the red area
Overall, therefore, the breakdown of the Regions included in the different areas is currently as follows:
- Yellow area: Campania, Basilicata, Molise, Autonomous Province of Trento, Sardinia, Tuscany;
Orange Area: Abruzzo, Calabria, Emilia-Romagna, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Lazio, Liguria, Marche, Veneto, Piedmont, Apulia, Umbria, Aosta Valley;
Red area: Lombardy, Autonomous Province of Bolzano, Sicily.
